My stay at Summit Hotel and Resorts in Lachung was a complete nightmare. Despite charging five-star prices, the experience was barely that of a three-star hotel.
The property is poorly maintained. The rooms had broken tables, malfunctioning lights, and taps that didn’t work properly. This lack of upkeep significantly detracted from the comfort and quality of the stay.
To make matters worse, the food was well below expectations. Both the variety and quality of the meals were disappointing, making dining at the hotel an unpleasant experience.
Overall, my experience was extremely unsatisfactory. I strongly recommend avoiding this property for your trip to Lachung. Look elsewhere for better value and a more enjoyable stay.

Great location and service squandered by maintenance issues.
The location is great but there was no hot water in the room. Raising the issue to housekeeping in the late evening did not result in any help. (I presume he wasn't authorised to offer room change). Had to use Kettle.
Dinner and Breakfast buffet were nice and service was reasonable.
Having stayed at 2 properties of Summit group my observation is that the group is not making needed investment in the properties while squeezing employees and leaving them holding the problems.
